Learning to love (and when not to), Anya Anastasia: Rogue Romantic is breaking hearts at Gluttony this Adelaide Fringe. Unpacking the complexities of love, this is a wickedly amusing display of cabaret.

Following a train wreck of romantic endeavours through song, common ideals of love are explored in a glamorous and entertaining way. Wandering from love to lust, committed to curious and everything in between, Anastasia bears the full gamut of emotions. A songstress, comedian, musician and actress, her many talents glow on stage as she demands the audience's full attention and captivates the room.

Her bitter humour and charming charisma blend together as she falls in and out of love numerous times within an hour, flirting her way through the show. With the support of her all female band boasting a pianist, bass player and drummer, Anastasia performs an array of original tracks all with perfectly suited dark and witty lyrics. With some moments personal and touching and others dramatic and brutal, Rogue Romantic will take you on an heart-throbbing journey.

Anya Anastasia: Rogue Romantic, Spiegel Zelt at Gluttony, until 18 Mar, 7pm, various prices
