About halfway down the Royal Mile, Always Sunday is in an ideal location for seeing Edinburgh’s beautiful Old Town. The cafe is pleasant to be in with a cosy and chilled atmosphere.

The food is priced around £4 for salads and soups with slightly pricer main meals also available from the counter at breakfast and lunch. The daily selection of homemade soups are especially filling and come with a generous side of bread.

Always Sunday sees the constant influx of tourists like many other bars and cafes in central Edinburgh, becoming especially busy around midday when you might struggle to find a seat. However for a healthy but delicious lunch you won’t find a nicer cafe on the Royal Mile.
