Kristan Schaal & Kurt Braunohler: Double Down Hearts

Kurt Braunohler and Kristen Schall (the second of whom convention requires be described as either “kooky” or “quirky”) hit this year's Fringe to reprise a show that saw them nominated for the 2008 If.comedy Award.

The couple’s public relations people insist that Schaal and Braunohler simply “forgot to write new material”, kerrazy kids that they are. Perhaps they should be forgiven this oversight, as they do seem to have been somewhat busy getting famous over the past twelve months.

Indeed, after performances at comedy festivals the world over—as well as TV work on shows including South Park, The Daily Show, and Flight of the Conchords—perhaps we should consider ourselves fortunate that these two established US comedy stars have still got time at all for Auld Reekie.
