What helps me survive is that I live in a quiet part of town.
I love this harbour, this bridge once so busy but now reclaimed by tranquility, and the water where the only drama comes from the swans and the ducks and the play of light and shade on the surface.
It's such a good and helpful reminder that there is life outside the cattle market of the Fringe. That in truth theatre has nothing to do with audience numbers and star reviews. That its roots lie deeper in the peaceful heart of things.
