IV Voyages: The Odyssey Revisited

As the second instalment of the IV Print Collective, this exhibition presents new artwork by four local female printmakers. Investigating ancient Greek myths, stories, and visual language from Homer’s 'The Odyssey', the artists navigate themes of journey, self-discovery and the representation of women to inform new artworks. Working in a number of different printmaking techniques including linocut, etching, letterpress and screen-print, the artists will also present a series of collaborative works and artist books. Accepted into the [GRAFTd] exhibition program at Sauerbier House Culture Exchange in the heart of Port Noarlunga, the exhibition will open on the 1st of February 2020, 1.30pm – 4pm.
